So, I'm quite a ways into Nisekoi, and I'm rather enjoying it. I wasn't sure whether the whole Tsundere trope would get old, but it's been entertaining so far. I don't want to talk too much about the story, but I will say that I've been pleasantly surprised by how I'm kept guessing as to which girl the main character is ultimately destined to be with, given the premise of the story. I'm a sucker for a good love triangle. But I'm not sure it can ever end well. Of course with recent developments in volume 16, there are more possibilities.
Anyway, I'm noticing how many of these entries contain "so," followed by "anyway." ANYWAY. Liz continues to be Liz. And, of course, Terran. I swear these characters show the worst sides of themselves during this first part of the story. They are not that bad. Promise. ^v^

DeleteSo, you're saying they'll look better later? Though really, Liz is still the only one that seems really bad. Unless, Terran has a split personality, I don't really know what to think other than you mention her like somethings wrong with the girl. Ari sees it as a joke, so I can't see her as truly malicious, especially when she asks if Liz is sure. Clara's apathy might be annoying, but there's a lot of characters like that that I don't hold anything against. Actually, I like some of those types.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am saying that I intend to share other qualities about these characters down the line that I find better than the ones that are shared as of this post. It's natural that these qualities will seem worse or better to others than they appear to myself, so I can understand why you would respond to my little blurb in this way.
